Toxics in Garbage 

All municipal waste streams contain plastics and all plastics contain toxic chemicals.  These chemicals can have far ranging impacts on human health, especially on children and reproductive health. Any process that seeks to recycle or process mixed municipal waste containing plastic will create toxic emissions and/or residues that will need to be disposed.
