US Steel Gary Works. GARD is advocating for replacement of the blast furnaces at Gary Works with newer, cleaner Direct Reduction technology.  GARD also opposes a plan to use plastic pellets as fuel at Gary Works as a less than halfway meansure that will have only a miniscule impact on carbon emissions. 

Maya Energy. GARD hopes to halt this potentially polluting solid waste processing facility on 35th Avenue across from the Steel City Academy. 

Fulcrum Bioenergy GARD's predictions that Fulcrum Bioenergy's flawed plan for a so-called waste to fuel plant could never work was released after Fulcrum Bioenergy declared bankruptcy and lost its Gary lease.

Carmuse Lime. After commenting on Carmuse's IDEM permit, GARD has been discussing various ways to reduce pollution and improve the environment at this plant.
